Monsterkarten mit Attribut-Upgrade!
Im dritten Kapitel von Runes of Magic kommt die Erweiterung des Karten-Systems!
Mit dem Beginn der mehrstufigen Release-Phase von „Chapter III − The Elder Kingdoms“ im April, wir das Sammelkarten-System um ein neues Feature und 48 Monsterkarten erweitert.
Getötete Gegner geben Monsterkarten preis, die zukünftig neben herkömmlichen Informationen über das Ungetüm zusätzlich bestimmte Attributspunkte enthalten. Diese verbessern die Grundeigenschaften des Spieler-Charakters. Jedes Monster, zu denen auch der Demon Lord zählt, besitzt eine eigene Karte mit individuellen Statuswerten, wie beispielsweise einem Bonus auf Geschicklichkeit oder Ausdauer.
So gelten die Karten unter den Spielern nicht mehr nur als Trophäen, sondern auch als wertvoller Attribut-Upgrade.
Mit den 48 neuen Kreaturen, die in der ersten Release-Phase in Runes of Magic implementiert, befinden sich ab April insgesamt ca. 800 verschiedene Mobs im sogenannten „Monsterkompendium“. In ihm sind alle Kreaturen aufgelistet und in zehn Kategorien, wie „Untoter“ oder „Biest“, unterteilt.
Jedoch erlangen Spieler die begehrten Monsterkarten nicht nur durch eigenständiges Erlegen der Mobs. Trophäensammler und Attribut-Jäger haben zusätzlich die Möglichkeit, die Karten im Auktionshaus von anderen Spielern zu erstehen oder zu tauschen.
